Ascend Automation Agency is the automation practice of Aaron Melton, founder of Aaron Melton Consulting, LLC. We specialize in streamlined process automation, seamless data integration, and custom internal tools for small businesses.

We have automated sales-agreement vetting in PandaDoc, CRM cleanup in Close.com, recurring report generation, and daily retry sweeps that fix failures before anyone notices. If your team repeats it every week, we can build a system that runs it for you.
LLM-powered steps inside real workflows: email triage that anonymizes personal data before anything reaches a model, retrieval over your own records, and product classification built on embeddings. AI where it earns its keep, guardrails where it matters.
We have synced SQL databases into NocoDB, piped lead data into Airtable, and connected CRMs, e-signature tools, and OneDrive and SharePoint file flows. Your systems talk to each other so nobody has to copy-paste between them.
When off-the-shelf platforms hit their limits, we write the missing piece in Python or JavaScript: scrapers, data pipelines, classification services, and internal utilities, shipped with version control, CI, and documentation.

Client work
A regional electrical contractor engaged us for a paid AI readiness assessment: seven stakeholder interviews across four departments, a written report with a risk register, and a prioritized quick-win backlog. After the executive read-out, the client moved directly into implementation, starting with time-tracking compliance.
A county government works with us as an ongoing automation partner. We have built AI-assisted email triage with PII anonymization, retrieval over county records, and document redaction tooling designed around a legal requirement to justify every redaction. All of it runs on infrastructure the county controls.
An industrial equipment supplier needed technical product emails answered faster. We built an AI email response agent grounded in their parts lists, price lists, and product documentation, so inquiries get accurate first responses without a specialist re-typing the same answers.
All three are real engagements, anonymized to protect client confidentiality.
